Today (March 17) Bosnia declared a nationwide state of emergency over coronavirus, Reuters reports, to enable coordination of emergency activities between its two autonomous regions, Prime Minister Zoran Tegeltija said.

The Bosniak-Croat Federation and the Serb Republic separately declared emergency situations on Monday and introduced measures to halt the spread of the disease.

All kindergartens, schools and universities are closed throughout the whole of Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Borders with Serbia and Montenegro are closed.

Public gatherings are banned.

In institutions, all people must enter one by one, people must be 1m away (at least) from each other.

All persons entering Bosnia-Herzegovina must by law enter quarantine for 14 days.
