More than just a warm bowl of soup

When you visit and MWB Community Centre you are instantly overwhelmed by ordinary people doing extroadinary things.

With high unemployment and desolate living conditions, many people simply don't have enough food or money to feed their families. The children are undernourished, and the elderly are forgotten.

When you visit an MWB Community Centre you are instantly overwhelmed by ordinary people doing extroadinary things. Many of the community centres are attached to local churches, with volunteers giving their time to help the less fortunate. Their support isn't just limited to a bowl of soup for the hungry, there are always plenty of activities available to the community on a daily basis. Community centres are a warm place for people to come and eat, meet new friends, feel safe and learn about God's love.

When the elderly and sick have been fed and left for the day, the local children come after school and spend time. They too are given a warm meal, they are taught English and are given assistance with their school studies. Many also participate in the bible study lessons and often attend church on Sunday's with their families.
