Child Care

Lack of Space in children home

Children are always the most vulnerable. This is why Mission Without Borders concentrates much of it’s activities on the material and spiritual well being of children. Particularly in the case of small children, our support will usually include the mother as well.

One of our most important projects is MotherCare. Here, young mothers get help in caring for themselves and their baby throughout the pregnancy and after delivery. With the generous gift of essentials: nappies, ointments, baby clothes, nutritious food supplements and feminine hygiene goods, we can increase the joy and lessen the burden for these woman. Included in the package is a booklet which explains in detail how to care for a new baby, how to keep it healthy, and how to ensure that the mother herself stays healthy.

But ChildCare also means that we bring assistance to children who are handicapped. Regardless if children are in kindergarten or need vocational training, we are there for them. Whenever we can, we help boys and girls in special, often tragic circumstances: children in prison, street children and abused children are in need of loving assistance. Also, we bring joy and happiness to thousands of children with our regular summer camps.

One of the most siginificant ways you can be involved as we change children’s lives, is through our Child Sponsorship Program - Child Rescue International - click for more information on the program, and also information on children waiting for sponsorship
