Below is a list of some of the children that are currently available for sponsorship.
In keeping with the Hague Convention and recent law changes in some countries, our mission policy is NOT to show photos of children needing sponsorship in our advertising.
Should you choose to sponsor a child we will forward his or her photo and information, which is updated annually.
From Ukraine and Moldova, you may sponsor children living in Child Placement Centres (orphanages). However, in Moldova and Romania, many of the children are living with their parents in the community. This new child sponsorship program is called CRI in Community. Being enrolled in the MWB Program, the children benefit from all the services offered at the MWB Community Centre’s, which are helpful for their development and well-being. The children are able to attend the comunity centre daily to recieve shoes and clothing, school supplies, homework help, and other benefits from MWB. They have the opportunity to attend the Christmas and Easter drama presentations by MWB Christian Input team where they (and their parents) can hear Bible truths but at the same time watch a real theatre play with bright coloured costumes . The child receives counselling from the CRI Coordinator. They attend various activities organised for the CRI in Community children where they are shown love, listened to and encouraged by the MWB’s volunteers.
Ukraine GirlsViktoriya Savchuk (1109872) born 10/12/2004. Viktoriya comes from a poor, dysfunctional family. Her parents are divorced and she is the only child in the family. Viktoriya suffers from heart problems and needs the medical treatment, special care and education offered in the Children’s Home. Viktoriya is in grade 1 at school and likes her Teachers and especially the writing class. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with dolls with her friends and watching cartoons. Viktoriya is caring, helpful, well behaved, hard working and a responsible child.

Ukraine- Boys Denys Skok (1102407)- born 19/07/2002/. Denys’ parents are deceased. His grandmother is his guardian. Denys has a twin brother who also lives in this Children’s Home. Denys has poor hearing and receives special education in this Home. He is in preschool and likes drawing and doing maths. Denys is a friendly and kind child. To sponsor Denys, please contact us
Moldova-Girls Brindusa Criucov (1106030)- born 24/04/2005. Brindusa is enrolled in our CRI in Community program. Brindusa comes from a poor family with both parents who are married. They are unemployed and unable to provide for their family. She has 1 brother. Brindusa (which means ‘crocus flower’ ) is in preschool. She is a happy, friendly, honest and outgoing child. She enjoys playing games, drawing and singing. Brindusa would like to be a Teacher when she grows up.To sponsor Brindusa, please contact us. Ionela Chetroi (1106034) -born 22/08/1998. Ionela cames from a poor family. Her parents are unemlpoyed and are not able to provide the necessary care for their children. Ionela has 3 sisters and 1 brother. Ionela is in grade 5 at school and likes playing games, reading, caring for her siblings, beign helpful to her friends and family and listening to music. She is an honest, diligent, hardworking, friendly and outgoing child. She is enrolled in the CRI in Community program and is ministered to through the MWB Community centre in Brinza town.

Boys Tudor Dabija (1105845) Born 12/02/1998. Tudor’s mother is deceased and his father is not interested in him. Tudor is cared for by his older sister. He has two sisters. Tudor is in grade 5 at school adn likes to play games, draw and listen to music. He is a slow learner child and requires special education, which he receives in the Children’s Home. Tudor is a confident, independent, responsbible and self-assured child.

Marius Rosca (1105846) Born 13/06/2000. Marius’parents are divorced and his mother is his guardian as the father has abandoned the family. He has no siblings. Marius has a mental deficiency and needs special education and care. He is in grade 3 at school. Marius is a funny, joyful, active and energetic boy. His favourite pastime is drawing, colouring in and playing fun games.

Romania -CRI in Community Girls Ioana Manuela Ciurar (1105853) Born 11/11/2003. Ioana comes from a poor family with 3 daughters. She is the middle child. Ioana and her family live in only one room of an old house belonging to her maternal grandmother. Their living conditions are very poor. Her parents are legally married. her mother is unemployed and her father has a job but only earns a small wage. Ioana is cheerful, enthusiastic, friendly and fun. Cosmin Alin Ruja (1108357) Born 20/07/2001. Alin comes from a poor family with 5 children-all boys. The children stay with only their mother most of the time, because their father goes to different towns to look for occassional work but he is not able to provide a stable income for the family. Alin is in grade 3 at school and likes to study Romanian language. He is a quiet, friendly and hardworking child who likes to help his mother with the housework.
