As statistics prove, there are 300 Children’s Homes housing 100,000 children in Ukraine alone, with homes incapable of providing for their daily practical needs, let alone the love and care only a family can provide.
Although Romania and now Moldova are making moves toward encouraging and providing for families to give homes for children, rather than continuing with the practice of children being housed in large Children’s Homes, the stark reality is thousands still need care and there are simply not the families willing and able to provide care for these children.
Mission Without Borders is committed to meeting the needs of these children and does so in the following 3 ways:
Child Rescue International in 170+ Children’s Homes in Ukraine, Moldova and Romania
Although this ministry has changed so much since its inception in 1990 (it is amazing that we have just celebrated CRI’s 20th Anniversary!) our commitment to the remaining children still housed in Children’s Homes continues.
You can support this great ministry by sponsoring a child for $40/month - we currently have children availalbe for sponsorship in Ukraine - click on link below for children waiting.
Your sponsorship provides for your sponsored child and their Children’s Home. We do so by supplying nutritious food (the budget the Homes receive from the government never goes close to providing for the basic nutritional requirement of growing children.
We deliver clothing, shoes, winter boots nad hygiene items as often as our budget allows and as often as we receive great donations of relevant stock from companies.
We assist with medicines, dental and eye care examinations and provision of glasses where needed.
We provide wonderful Christian Input adn Emotional Support Classes and Ministries in all Homes. These are run with MWB staff and many, many volunteers from partnering churches.
Orphaned, abandoned, or handicapped, these children need our regular assistance. To meet these needs we offer child sponsorships. Every child sponsor is paired with an individual child, but the monthly contributions do so much more than helping just a single child. Combined with the gifts of other child sponsors, your gifts help to improve the quality of life for all the children in the Children’s Homes.

Thanks to your monthly contribution of $40/child, we can bring food, clothing, school supplies, hygiene packs and much more to the Children’s Homes. With special gifts, our donors also bring the joy of Christmas to the homes, and even make it possible for the children to have birthday parties.Thanks to the cooperation and involvement of our sponsors, we help with the upkeep and renovation of the Children’s Homes and we offer medical assistance and spiritual guidance to all children.
