Sali works on a daily basis in the construction sector and he usually earns 15000 Leks/mnth ($AU148) and Svileta keeps. They are living in the house of Sali’s brother, which has two rooms and an outside toilet. There is no running water inside the house. Most of the furniture normally found in a house is lacking and they can’t afford to buy the basic items needed. The parents are facing a lot of difficulties in trying to meet the basic daily needs for their family. The older children have not returned to their schooling since moving and the boys try to earn money by collecting scrap metal, in order to help their parents. The family is very poor and yet they are very open to the Gospel and Svileta was baptized last year.
