Part-time Receptionist/Office Assistant for Mission Without Borders

With the expansion of our ministry, an exciting opportunity exists for a warm, friendly communicator to join our team in Auburn/Silverwater!  As we endeavour to meet the spiritual and practical needs of the poor of Eastern Europe, our ministry is growing and we need your help!

Essential Criteria of new Receptionist/Office Assistant:

             Previous clerical experience.

             Friendly with great communication skills, both written and verbal.

             A professional phone manner.

             Neat appearance.

             Basic computer skills and ability to learn Donor Management system.

             Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the mission and values of Mission Without Borders.

 •            Have an active involvement in a Christian church and possess a commitment to mission.

             Ability to see what needs to get done and take initiative.

             Proactive helper willing to assist all staff members to meet deadlines, including some light duties in our warehouse.

             Capacity and willingness to work in a team environment.

             Maintain accuracy whilst adhering to deadlines.

 

Job Purpose

             To be the first point of contact for visitors to Mission Without Borders.

             Answer all incoming calls to Mission Without Borders unless occupied with visitors to office.

             To provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Office Administrator.

 

Terms and Conditions:

·         Immediate Start.

·         Temporary 3 month position with possibility of extension.

·         Casual Part time: 20 hours/week
