‘Gifts in Kind’ and ‘Operation Cover-Up’ Update
December 2007 Update
As the year draws to a close, I would like to say a huge thank you to all who have been involved this year – three containers of aid were sent to our field countries! We look forward to sharing photos of some of the deliveries in the new year.![]()
Thank you for all the love, care, compassion and generosity we see with your donations.
I know the cause of helping the children and families through Mission Without Borders has been a wonderful focus in your groups – thank you for making a wonderful difference! ![]()
Even though we are on the other side of the world, to our field countries, we are making a real and lasting difference! We hope you have enjoyed the ride with us this year, and we look forward to your support for next year! The heat of the coming months will hinder many from knitting, but for those keen to continue, we will continue to collect knitted items for the next container, which we envisage sending approximately February next year. Contact our office for details.
For those keen to search out a post-Christmas bargain, our field countries have particularly asked for all items for knitting, crocheting, embroidery and sewing - for the students in Vocational Training, as well as the families and elderly who would love to knit or sew for themselves, but do not have the money for the materials.![]()
