200 New Bible Correspondence Course Students

Last week, the Romanian Bible Correspondence Course (BCC) Staff received an exciting request from a school in Blaj,Alba County. School Director, Mrs. Livia Muresan, asked staff to enroll the 200 students who attend her school in MWB’s Bible Course.   This exciting development is a result of the effective testimony of the children from the Placement Centre in Blaj, already enrolled in the Course, sharing the wonderful things they have learnt with their fellow students of the Placement Centre.
As a result, the Director, Mrs Muresan, decided this would be an effective tool for all students in the Home. She believes all children should have an opportunity to learn about God and his offer of Salvation through Christ Jesus.
Mission Without Borders Romania is greatly encouraged by this partnership with the Placement Centre in Blaj. Thanks to Mrs. Livia Muresan’s support, the children can now hear about the Power of God through His Son Jesus Christ.

In May 2007, the MWB’s puppetry team visited and performed a show, ‘Joseph and his Brothers’  to Mrs Muresan’s students. The students enjoyed the show immensely! The show was entertaining, but the biblical message was just as warmly received, not only by the children, but also by the teachers and carers in the Home. It is interesting to note that even the non-Christian staff who saw the play understood, and were receptive to the message, that children can develop a good attitude if they follow examples from the Bible .
We all praise the Lord for this wonderful work He has started in this school! We hope that through the Bible Correspondence Course and Christian Input in the Home, these children may come to know Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour, and serve as role models for their relatives, friends and teachers yet to receive Jesus for themselves.
